Our Percentage Savanna Does are bred up from our original boer goat herd from the early 1990's to now our own creation of Base Goat, which is a special combination of Savanna, Boer, & Tennessee Meat Goat.  Our breed up program is started with these range raised base goats and bred to DNA Parent Verifed Registered 100% FULLBLOOD SAVANNA BUCKS.  From this point we keep back a percentage of elite doelings that meet our strict guidlines and register them as 50% Savannas.   We continue this process up to purebred statis.   Knowing the genetic background and health of our goats is very important to us.  Each doe is evaluated and must meet certain guidelines before they are retained in our herd.  All of these percentages are registered so pedigrees can be easily be tracked back to our original base goats.     From start to finish, we know our goats from base goat to purebred.
